Sydney University Hockey Club recently held their annual Presentation Dinner, honouring the clubs success during the 2008 season. One of those honoured was a member of the Sydney University veterans team, Brian Fitzpatrick. During the season, Brian played his 400th game for SUHC, making him one of the most capped players in the clubs history. Combined with Fitzy's position as the all-time leading goal scorer for the club, it illustrates what a fantastic servent he has been for the club throughout the years. Congratulations on a fantastic season, and thanks for the contribution not only to Sydney Uni hockey, but hockey in general. |

The 2008 Sydney Veterans Hockey Champions have been crowned, with the deciders in all three divisions being tight and tough affairs. C Division was settled with Penalty Strokes, B Division went to Golden Goal extra time, while a typically close match in A Division saw that settled in regulation time. In a tigthly contested match, Sydney Uni have defeated Ryde in the 2008 Preliminary Final to progress to their fourth Grand Final in five years. Full match details can be found here. |

So you've heard that the My Turf website contains results for Sydney Veterans Hockey, but you can't seem to locate them. The simple answer is that you need to register as a member in order to access the Competitions section. |
